Haagen-Dazs and Shota Sushi to offer new dining options at shopping destination

KATY, TX (July 30, 2012) – Katy Mills, the largest outlet and value retail shopping destination in South Texas, will welcome one of the first-ever Abercrombie & Fitch/Hollister prototype stores to its retail mix of more than 175 stores this November.  This exciting addition, along with new dining options from Haagen-Dazs and Shota Sushi, will enhance the already popular roster of fashion forward stores and delicious eateries at Katy Mills.

“Katy Mills is excited to be one of the first locations in the U.S. to debut this new Abercrombie & Fitch/Hollister concept store,” said Mace Hirt, general manager at Katy Mills.  “This new addition, complemented by new dining options, solidifies Katy Mills’ dominant position as the largest outlet and value retail shopping destination in South Texas.”

The Abercrombie & Fitch/Hollister prototype store will debut at Katy Mills, offering a one-stop shopping experience for fans of both brands.  Fashionable young men and women will soon enjoy Abercrombie & Fitch’s ever popular preppy apparel and Hollister’s beach chic casual wear.  The Abercrombie & Fitch brand is widely recognized for its iconic moose logo, proudly featured on the brand’s apparel, while Hollister is known for its Southern California inspired apparel.  The Abercrombie & Fitch/Hollister prototype store will open during November 2012 in Neighborhood 3 near Calvin Klein.

Visitors will also soon enjoy more dining options from Haagen-Dazs and Shota Sushi.  Haagen-Dazs will offer shoppers distinctive and indulgent flavors of ice cream, crafted from the purest and finest ingredients in the world. Haagen-Dazs will open in September 2012 near Aeropostale and American Eagle.  Shoppers will also savor Shota Sushi’s great selection of sushi rolls and other great dishes when the restaurant opens in October 2012 near AMC Theatres.

Along with these great new additions, shoppers can visit Katy Mills’ line-up of more than 175 fashionable stores such as Last Call by Neiman Marcus, Aldo, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, Coach Factory Store, DKNY Company Store, Express, Banana Republic Factory Store, Robert Wayne Footwear, Juicy Couture, Forever 21 and Tommy Bahama Outlet.
