BLOGGER RECAP: Fashion Houston FH5 Day Three

Well it happened folks! I didn't think Fashion Houston could get  any better after two nights of great fashion and networking but it did! better but it did. Taking pictures with the other members of Houston Fashion Bloggers became a tradition! Bloggers were everywhere, every night! We walked the red carpet, took pictures and chatted all night long.

HFB Members: Brittany Carson, Shaundra Webb, Jillian Williams, Shalanda "Shasie" Turner, Myself, Miranda Jones, & Nicole Kestenbaum.

After chatting with the other bloggers, we took our seats in the press pit to cover the amazing runways of night 3! Kicking off the evening was none other than Bibhu Mohapatra!

Fashion Designer, Bibhu Mohapatra

Simple and chic is how I would describe everything from Bibhu Mohapatra. The styling, the models, the most simple detail was chic! I enjoyed this designer because everything on the runway can be seen on any girl. Can I have the feathered sweater?

Who doesn’t love Rebecca Minkoff? Cute, stylish and very on trend were the designs going down the runway. I see myself going on a coffee date wearing her dresses. Everything on the was pretty and every piece was stylish which makes it a little easier to get dressed in the morning.

Jio' Zei Reyes

Houston Fashion Designer, Jio'Zei Reyes

Sophisticated to the max! Looking at the models walk down the runway in these looks makes me want to galas everyday. The make up, the hair, the models, everything was sophisticated and elegant. By the way, did you see the furr detail on the blue skirt? I must say, I am a little inspired after seeing this skirt and dress walk down the runway.

Spring, Spring, Spring! Rolando Santana made me wish the flowers were blooming and the sun was out. This was a different show because there was patters, lots of colors and even color blocking. My favorite part? The mixing of patterns. When I saw the green emerald dress walking down the runway, my jaw dropped. That dress is definitely something you don’t see everyday.

Houston Fashion Designer and Project Runway Season 2 Winner Chloe Dao

Chole Dao, one of Houston’s favorites, was the one to close Fashion Houston day three. Chloe Dao featured feminine and sophisticated looks down the runway. My favorite were the white dresses with the pink flowers. How is it possible that by using the same fabric she was able to design something so different?
