Fashion Houston only got better with each night! Everything from the musical performance to the red carpet and of course the fashion. However, by night four all of us bloggers were pretty tired, but definitely still excited! It was also bitter sweet to show up on Friday, as I realized it was going to be the last night to attend Fashion Houston. Every night there was something new and exciting and the collections were amazing. Obviously, the last night of Fashion Houston was no exception. The featured designers for the last night of Fashion Houston were Rami Salamoun, Valentina Kova, Fabrice Tardieu, Amir Taghi, & David Peck. Night four opened up with Fashion Houston Founder, Jared Lang and Houston Chronicle Fashion & Beauty Editor Joy Sewing. Following their intro, Taylor Crowley and Jonathan Grimes performed a couple songs to get us all in the mood for a night of Fashion.
I absolutely fell in love with this dress. So, can I take it home?
I see this on the red carpet!
This was most definitely one of my favorite designers! Every dress has so much detail and it looks amazing. Every time I would see on of his designs walk the runway, I would think of a celebrity wearing that on the runway.
I am not only in love with the men walking down the runway, but did you guys see those jackets? I really liked how every type of guy could rock those outfits. Everything in the collection was very versatile. One thing that I really liked and one thing you don't see often is that all of these pieces can go from day to night.
One thing comes to mind when I see these designs, sophisticated. Everything on the runway was classy, sophisticated and eye catching. The fabrics used and the small details made the complete look. Everything on the runway can easily be taken from a day to the office to a night with the ladies.
The pop of colors, the simplicity of the clothes and the comfortable style? Yes, it felt like Spring. I saw myself going to the beach, going shopping and going to dinner in half of these clothes.
David Peck is a Houston favorite! Everyone was ready to see his clothes walk down the runway and he did not disappoint. Not only was he one of the few designers to have his models walk down in pants, he also had a his models finish with masks. I have always loved that his pieces are very versatile. Everything in his collection can be worn on different occasion, work, night out and a full day of shopping. He definitely did not disappoint which is why he continues to be one of Houston's favorite!
